Squall, Zell, and Selphie ride up a 'elevator' and reach the top of the tower, where someone is working on the wires and grid of the tower. Squall takes a step, and the whole tower lights up, engines humming to life, as a large bowl appeared, and shot a charge through the air.
"Who are you?" -Biggs
"What are you doing?" -Squall
"That's what I was going to ask you! Wedge take care of these brats! Wedge..." -Biggs
"Who should start off?" -Zell
"You can if you want." -Squall
"Alright then." -Zell
Zell started off with a normal attack, getting the Attack Bonus. Selphie began casting Protect (She decided that protecting everoyone would help out everyone in the long run).
"Ha! Me first! Protect!" -Selphie
She cast protect on herself, and began casting it some more on Zell and Squall. Squall charged forward, slashing down hard on Biggs. Biggs came back with a crushing close-line on Squall, "..." -Squall
Squall brushed against his mouth, as Zell charged forward and got the Attack Bonus, as did Squall.
"Are you okay sir?" -Wedge
"Wedge?! Where were you! No paycheck for you this month!" -Biggs
"Should have stayed home..." -Wedge
As Squall got a protection on him, Selphie continued to Zell.
"Here you are, Protect!" -Selphie
Zell got the last protection, and she got ready to fight.
"Let's go!" -Selphie
Just as Squall finished his strike, a large whirlwind blew up throwing and tossing Biggs and Wedge aside, as a large disfigured monster appeared
"What the hell?" -Squall
"What the hell is that thing..." -Zell
"Gasp!" -Selphie
Selphie cried out the word. Her eyebrows then knitted, and she smiled at her new friends, "Let's go, are you guys scared?" -Selphie
Jesus, that thing is HUGE!" -Zell
Zell casted thunder, but didnt do much damage, "Damn it, whatls this guy's weakness? -Zell
Squall was glaring at the beast, "Use the GF's. They'll probably do more damage!" -Squall
Squall seemed to go into a trance as he began to summon Quezacotl, as did the others with their GF's.
Zion is on the side watching the fight more or less...Seeing how nobody has bothered to look at the monsters abilities, Zion went to draw from it and found something there that wasn't know. So she drew that and got the GF Siren.
"Cool..." -Zion
Zion looked around for anything that could help with the fight, however is was a bit crowded up her for her to just jump into the battle-she desparetly wanted to however.
Stupid big people... I could handle that thing. -Zion Selphie looked back at Zion, "I'm really sorry, Zion, we'll fight together later!" -Selphie
Selphie finished her GF summoning, and threw her hand into the air, "I'm ready, everyone! Ready for summon! I call upon Shiva!" -Selphie
Shiva was summoned and attacked. The force of the strike was so powerful that it nearly blew the monsterous thing back. Squall eyes widen, which was rare, when he saw the monster jump right back up.
"Summon Quezacotl!" -Squall
The large thunder bird appeared, striking down the monster, as it jumped back again.
This thing must be strong... -Squall
"Keep using the GF's! It'll be the quickest way through this thing!" -Squall
Zell started to summon Ifrit, he'd only fought Ifrit, but never summoned him. Since Zion wasn't fully part of the battle, she took the time to equip herself with Siren and look over the stats. When she looked back, it seemed that Quezecotyl had done much more damage than any of the other GFs used.
"It's weak against lightning, huh? hmm.. I wonder." -Zion
Seeing as she couldn't use Siren till after the battle, she pulled out her gunblade custom. It was time to show what the little eight-year-old can do as she loaded a bullet with the symbol of a lightning bolt on it.
"Caster... lightning bullet!" -Zion
Holding the gunlade custom out before her, she fired the bullet at the Elvoret. The bullet sparked and cracked as it struck the monster giving it a good jolt. Once the bullet had fired, Zion had returned the gunblade custom to its normal stance. She looked down for a split second only to find that she had just fired her only lightning bullet with her caster technique.
"Summoning Shiva!" -Selphie
She cried going once again into a trance, "I wish she'd Summon faster!" -Selphie
Squall began summoning again, but he's went faster since Quezacotl had taken a liking to him, "Summon Quezacotl!" -Squall
Squall summoned the thunder bird one more time, as he struck followed-up by Shiva, doing double damage. The monster floated around wearily now.
Ifrit was done summoning, "SUMMON IFRIT!" -Zell
Ifrit came out in a firey show and hit Elvoret hard, "Is it dead?" -Zell
Squall took one step and then holes of light began pouring out of it, then in a giant blast, it blew up.
"I'd think so..." -Squall
The four turned seeing Seifer walk up to them, Selphie bounding forward.
"Squad B Captain? Good--we're to retreat and head to the shore by 19:00." -Selphie
"What?" -Seifer
"Retreat and head to the shore by 19:00!" -Selphie
"We only have 30 minutes! Better run!" -Seifer
Seifer turned around and headed down the elevator.
